Masquerade [20 Mar 2006|11:16am]
[ mood | apathetic ]

The bloody little pipsqueak is right.

Life is all just a masquerade...

...but don't we all love living the lie?

[Private to Ron] Look, Weasley, if you're going to set up a meeting date for bloody sakes keep to it! I'm not going to wait around for you. [/Private]

[ooc to Ron's player: I haven't seen you around AIM lately...when can we get that scene going? *is eager*]

Rhetorical question. [13 Mar 2006|10:13pm]

If I kill the messenger, am I free of the task?

[Private]The irony does not escape me. [07 Mar 2006|08:30pm]
[ mood | irritated ]

[PRIVATE]Interesting how the Gryffindors are at each other's throats all over their journals, insulting each other, other people, and sexual innuendoes left, right and center.

I've barely called anyone a Pothead, and *I'm* the one who gets detention?

Oh right, I dissed the brillaint Potter and made mockery of the situation of the war. And Granger reported my comment about peeking in the girl's bathrooms.

So much for freedom of speech.

Writing thinking that nobody will ever know yet...that's the exact illusion this Muggle contraption is supposed to give, isn't it? Wonders if this would ever fall into the category of--alright, nevermind. It would disgrace the name of the Dark Arts.

Is this what you wanted to see, Professor? Students pretending that nobody hears their darkest and deepest secrets when they poke them into this Muggle contraption called a 'laptop computer'?

I for one don't think it's going to work.

Though it would be...amusing so to speak if these records found their way into a History of Magic text. "Chronicles of Hogwarts Students During the Dark Lord's Return." I can almost see it.

Almost.

Or, knowing how things would play out, "Chronicles of a Rising Hero--The Boy Who Lived and His Innermost Thoughts".

Merlin forbid.

On a more dramatic note, "Chronicles of The Chosen One--The Boy Who Lived and His Struggles for Acceptance".

Someone Avada Kedavra me now. Please.

And if any of this escaped uncut and uncensored, well, bravo to the chronicler.

And if all the records were unedited, a standing ovation is in order.

Because we all know that's not how history is written.

Contrary to Professor Binns.

Bloody brilliant.

What's with the 'saving people complex' most goody-hero-types have?

[Private Entry to Malfoy] How do you threaten a ghost into keeping its mouth shut? [27 Feb 2006|02:32pm]
[Private to Malfoy] I hope you have that ghostly girlfriend of yours sworn to secrecy, because I'm amazed Potter and his gang haven't decided to interrogate her already. Alright, maybe their combined brainpower isn't enough to drive the Hogwarts Express, but that doesn't mean the thought wouldn't have occured to them sooner or later. More on this later when you get out of class. [/Private to Malfoy]

But the cat came back, the very next day... [24 Feb 2006|12:47pm]
[ mood | annoyed ]

Merlin's sake.

As if there wasn't enough melodrama in Hogwarts already.

If you can't resist flaunting it about in the open air, at least go find some secluded spot to take your significant other's/family member's brains out so that the rest of the ignorant populace won't be inclined to rise their ears and eyes out afterwards.

[PRIVATE]Malfoy seems to think that we're in the same boat and therefore allies just because we have certain things in common.

Who does he think I am, another extension to his little 'mafia' consisting of those trolls Crabbe, Goyle, and the cow Parkinson? 'Keep me informed' my--

I don't care for your fanciful notions of a junior Death Eater mafia, Malfoy, and I never have. Though thanks to Muggle Studies I believe a few bigots will apply the Guilty By Association label with a liberal amount of spellotape and a Permanent Sticking Charm.

Grindelwald's wrath, and I thought I would be free of them in Muggle Studies...curse you, McGonagall. Curse you with a thousand years of pain.[/PRIVATE]

(OOC note: I just made up the band and the song...figured Nott wasn't into popular music bands...not to mention there *has* to be more than just the Weird Sisters and Celestina Warbeck. I could be wrong of course.)

All is not as it seems...

A reaction to the years. [19 Feb 2006|09:49pm]
[ mood | cynical ]

Have it your way, but after seven years, the whole 'Slytherins are scum' song and dance gets very very old. It doesn't help, really, that you get some poor excuses for wizards in this House seemingly every fortnight. Soon everyone is handling you like some kind of despicable slimy matter that came out of the wrong end of a Hippogriff.

And then you have trash all throughout the castle left lying around in open air, and nobody so much as points fingers at them--no! Good Merlin, no, they're not trash at all, I can still make wonderful paper airplanes out of them.

Begging your pardon, but I do believe the word "pure" was supposed to mean something untainted and good.

Life is a paradox.

You have to hand it to Malfoy--he's managed to make it between classes without being hexed down like a dog left, right and center by idiots who see the world in black and white. Actually, I wonder why nobody hexed Potter to a thousand slimy pieces when they were all off thinking he was the Wizarding World's greatest liar.

Will say no more about Potter for now, I have better things to do with my time. Not to mention that subject in itself has worn itself through. Potter this and Potter that...

It's no wonder Slytherin packed his bags on the other founders.
